Since the formation of Zone P Resident Sub-committee to handle residents' greivances and security problems, the crime rate in our Zone P has dropped drastically. In the meantime, we were able to establish two additonal roads to our existing seven roads, making a total of nine roads. Hopefully, other roads would be able to join us in due course. Nevertheless, even with security, we were not spared of crime.
On the evening of Feb 11 (4th day of CNY). 2 men on motorcycle snatched a lady's handbag on road 1/149L. Security personnels and residents caught one of the thieves while the other managed to escape (refer to the photo). The thief was later handed to the police. SYABAS to the security personnels and all residents involved.
Zone P委员会成功的解决该区居民的许多治安问题。自保安服务成立以来，Zone P的犯罪率降低了。同时，委员会也把保安服务从原有的7条增加至9条道路。希望其他还未加入的街道及居民能积极参与，使该区的治安工作能够更有效率。另一方面，就在今年2月11日(华人新年的第四天)，2名摩多骑士于1/149L地区掠夺了一名女士的手提包。保安人员及居民协力把其中一名强夺贼拿下，另一名却被逃脱。有关强夺贼之后被交于警方处理。恭喜居民及保安人员。
