Last Saturday daytime, August 2nd, there was an attempt break in Jalan Radin 4.

This is the back of the house. Notice that the grill was removed. Windows pane was removed (but pictures was taken after it has put back). The thieves did not manage to get in.

We have 2 gates at each end of the lanes. We have that for about few years. I felt safer with the gates.

On the day the break-in happened, one gate's lock went missing.

There are 2 possibilities.
1. It's an insider's job. There are a few house under renovation. The contractors do not lock their doors.

These drain cover thieves are scum bags.

The thief got the nerve to ask me whether I want to buy the drain cover.

You may wonder, why didn't I report to the police. When the thief asked, "Hello, mau tutup kah?" (while pointing to the ground.) At that time, I thought he was asking for covering the front pouch with tar. I declined. It was 2 days later, I realized the drain cover was stolen. The thief was actually asking me to buy a drain cover.

Since June 2007, we have shifted from Seri Petaling Community Center to Zone F badminton court. The court has recently been remade.

SRPA's Qi Gong is formed in 2004 under Master Woo until he passed away in October, 2007. We appreciate his effort and contribution. now, under the new leadership of Lou Si-Heng, we have an average of 40 members.

Qi-Gong exercise improves your blood circulation. Coming three times a week will surely reduce your medical bills SPRA welcome residents who are interested in this healthy exercise.

Every Tuesday, Thurs and Friday, between 8 pm to 9:30 pm.

On the Feb 1, 2008, Zone L started the security service. Subsequently, Zone L sub-committee initiated the dialog with Chief Inspector Mazlan (Ketua Balai Petaling) to discuss security issues. Mazlan reported crime rate for Zone L in the past. We hope with formation of the security, Zone L will be crime free. Response from the residents is encouraging, soon we should be able to cover every road in this zone.

Inspector-General of Police (IGP) has come up with the concept of ”Community Police”; a concept in which policemen and his family staying in the community. Their residence is opened to the public.

The concept enables police forces to communicate effectively with residents living in the area, hence enhancing the relation between law enforcers and the civilians.

Since the formation of Zone P Resident Sub-committee to handle residents' greivances and security problems, the crime rate in our Zone P has dropped drastically. In the meantime, we were able to establish two additonal roads to our existing seven roads, making a total of nine roads. Hopefully, other roads would be able to join us in due course. Nevertheless, even with security, we were not spared of crime.

One Feb 1, 2008, Zone F started the security service. On 20th February, 2008 the 2008 Protem Zone F Sub-Committee was duly elected and formed with the following members:-
